You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous - how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!

16 weeks, 4 days: 5/5/2009

Today we saw our first pictures of you! You were moving around like crazy too, and even waved a couple of times. We have a picture of you waving, and another of your two little feet... so precious! We tried so hard to see if you were a boy or a girl, but you sat with your legs crossed (how funny is that?). You haven't even been born yet, and you are already teasing us! Daddy and I went to a Baby's-R-Us last weekend and I started thinking about all the great things we'll start you out with. I started getting so excited!
Another thing that's been happening the last week or two is that I can feel you bumping around inside my tummy. It's really light, but I know that it's you! The doctor even told us during our last exam that he could hear you kicking around! We heard your heartbeat, and then we heard kicks. You are a moving machine!!
We are supposed to go back to the doctor for another sonogram in 3 weeks to see if we can tell what sex you are... I can't wait!

I love you SO much,
Mommy
